Does anyone know what would happen if you are on finasteride (propecia) and take MDMA? Does anyone know what the drug interaction would be? Would it be more dangerous than taking mdma by itself?

Generic Propecia (finasteride) is also ok. I use it with same results, and unfortunately same side effects(a bit dry feeling in the scalp) as brand propecia. Have tried lots of herbal c..p before it and laser combs, so far the only thing that prevents my hairloss, not much regrowth, but has stopped my hairloss completely.

i’m 18 and use propecia to prevent me from getting bald.
before i started to use it, 2 years ago, i had a lot of hair on my body, legs, arms and face (beard), compared to other people my age.
But it didn’t really grow the last 2 years. i’ve got the same amount of hair on my chest as 2 years ago.
can this be another effect of propecia?

I have taken propecia for over a year and am afraid its causing ED. Any other men with the same problem? If you have stopped taking it, did your sexual performance improve?

I have been taking propecia for around 3 years with no sexual side effects. It does state that a side effect of taking propecia can be sexual but also states the if you quit taking the product the problem is solved.
You may just have E.D. irregardless of the Propecia but the only way to know is to come off of it and so what happens.

Use it at your own risk-it is not for everyone, as I do know someone else personally who had their libido destroyed-and this is a married male I know who was angry that his body wasn’t “Propecia-compatible.” The Merck patent expired, so you can get generic Finasteride cheaper than the Merck version at any pharmacy. I personally order it online through reputable Canadian POMpharmacy.com Worked for me… filled in my crown area that was just starting to get the MUNK look.. Also made the rest of the top feel and look a little more fuller.. Didn’t really do anything for the temples though ,, but that’s fine.. Overall I’m very pleased.. And will continue use until something better comes along..Good luck

Since Proscar or the generic version is at 5mg you would think it would help your hair better than just 1mg of Propecia. Is that correct?

I used finasteride and I noticed a minimal amount of growth, and I can tell you that rogaine doesn’t work. You should try scalpmed, although it’s from the infomercial, the results look really promising. Go to their website and check it out.

My boyfriend started taking Propecia right after we met ’cause he doesn’t want to lose his beautiful head of hair. Is depression a side effect of Propecia? Can it cause irritability?

Depression is not a known side effect of Propecia, but that does not mean that Propecia can’t cause this side effect. Your boyfriend should discuss his symptoms with his doctor.

I was afraid of taking propecia because of what I heard (decrease libido, decrease sex drive, etc) but I’m on my 5 month and my sex drive and my semen are as healthy as before, so I’ve been checking myself but honestly this side effects are rare. I have my hair back and my sex drive is the same so as my semen.

What works and what does not work. What does it cost to have hair restoration? Any tips would be great.

Rogaine–kinda stops some fallout, but no new hair
Propecia–better at fallout, but no new hair
Avodart–the best, and may grow new hair

Note:all of these may have sexual side effects (like trouble getting or mainting erection)
